Set-up Instructions For CCC of A
Seller/Buyer Stores in Market Place
Members may set-up and maintain their own page for the buying/selling of candy containers.
Step 1: Contact Cecil Scholey to set-up the basic page and links for you. Give him your name and e-mail address. You will be sent an e-mail invitation making you an Author and giving you the authority to edit your personal store.
All other pages are locked out from you, so you can't mess up anything. You must accept this invitation to actvate your store.
Step 2: Once activated you can edit your own store, where you can up load photos, add descriptions of, and prices.
Step 3: How to access your personel store-
Enter http://www.weebly.com/weebly/userHome.php
1) You will see under My Sites- Candy Container Collectors. Click on the blue Edit button.
2) Along the top of the next page you will see Elements Design Pages Editors Settings. Click on Pages
3) On the next page scroll down the list of pages until you come to your name (i.e. Cecil Scholey)
Click on your name and it will turn BLUE.
4) Go to top of page and click on blue Edit Page button You will be sent to your store. You are now ready to
edit your page.
Step 4: Entering data: There will be a blue box with 2 photos that says CLICK HERE TO UPLOAD IMAGES. Click anywhere on this box and you will be direct to your computer. Select where your photos are kept, and then hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and click on each photo you want to add. Then click on open and photos will be uploaded. Click in area where photos are and you will see a bar with 3 icons above each photo. You can mouse over the icons to see their meanings (Add Link, Add Caption, Remove Image). Click on Add Caption and a box will open where you can type in E&A or DPP numbers, title, description of, condition (You can use abbreviation such as N/C) and the sales price. Go to next photo and repeat process. When done click on the orange Publish button at top of this page. You have now created your store. If you want to delete a photo, click within picture area and icons will appear appear above photos. Click on can (3rd Icon) to delete photo.
Tip: You can cut & paste candy container descriptions from the various scrapbooks and paste them in your store description. Open two windows, one for the candycontainer.org site and the other in your store under Weebly edit. From our website go to the scrapbook you want and click on a photo and copy the text you want to use. Go to your store and paste the description to your photo.
